Gary Guillen

Associate Attorney

Gary is a Los Angeles native and first-generation Mexican-American. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and his Juris Doctor from the Santa Barbara & Ventura Colleges of Law.

Working full-time as a paralegal throughout law school, Gary was immersed in Santa Barbara’s legal community. He was a member of the William L. Gordon Inn of Court from 2018-2020 where he had the opportunity to interact with experienced attorneys and judges. Gary was also the first law student to become a member of the Board of Directors of the Santa Barbara Barristers, a non-profit organization whose mission is to advance education, collegiality, and professionalism among members of the Bar by providing frequent educational and social opportunities for the legal community to participate in.

Since becoming an attorney, Gary has recovered over $2 million for his clients and has served as lead counsel in a personal injury trial. He looks forward to having the opportunity to conduct additional trials in the future.

In his free time, Gary enjoys listening to a wide-range of music, attending concerts and music festivals, and traveling.
